Artist bio – Gregor Hart
Gregor (Greg) Hart is an artist living and working in Perth, Western Australia.
Finding his artistic tendencies during a mid-life existential crisis, Greg worked his way through an Advanced Diploma in Photography at Central Institute of Technology (Perth, WA). Continuing his education Greg completed a Bachelor of Contemporary Art (Visual Art & Photomedia) at Edith Cowan University (Mt Lawley, WA).
Primarily working in two dimensions (not exclusively), Greg’s practice largely involves photography and print making or an amalgam of both. A romantic at heart, Greg works with narratives to express his ideas and thoughts.
Greg has sporadically shown his photographic work in group exhibitions, been a finalist in local “art” or “photographic” awards and had work acquired by Central Institute of Technology and Edith Cowan University collections
His existential crisis continues, he immerses himself in the production of artwork that seek to question his own humanistic concerns.
